Hi There!  My name is Skipper!  I was rescued after being alone for quite some time.  I was given a bath, a haircut and a warm place to sleep.  Now, although the food here is great, I want to be someone's forever lap dog.  

One of our volunteers picked up Skipper from our local animal shelter. This sweet love bug was cleaned up and given some TLC.  We soon found out that skipper was one of the sweetest, most gentle dogs we have ever met.  Skipper has a cute little squeak that she lets out when she is the happiest.  She loves to sit on your lap and hang out, looking at you with love and appreciation.  The home that gets our sweet Skipper will be blessed.  

Skipper is missing her two hind feet, however this doesn't stop her from getting around anywhere she wants to go.  She also gets along with playful dogs, young and old.  Our two pug mixes wrestle playfully with Skipper and she loves the attention!

All of our adoptable animals are up to date on routine vaccinations, microchipped and spayed or neutered.  If the animal is too young a certificate for the spay/neuter is included in the adoption fee.  Please CLICK HERE to complete our online adoption application.
Many of our animals can be seen at our adoption center located at 5820 Richmond Rd, Texarkana, TX on Saturdays between 10 am - 3 pm.  We also have cats available in the Cat Adoption Center inside PetSmart - Texarkana.  To make arrangements to meet any of our animals, please call us at 1-877-525-4825, option 2.
