Meet Zack, one lovable terrier!  

Zack came to the Texarkana Animal League through his guardian angel.  When a kind man saw Zack get hit on a busy street, he couldn't just leave this hurt pup to suffer.  Zack was taken to a nearby animal clinic where he was told he would need surgery on his leg to fix the injury.  The kind rescuer not only paid for Zack's leg surgery but all other fees associated with his vetting. After his surgery, Zack quickly started to recover.  The staff at the veterinary clinic were absolutely in love with this sweet dog and happy to see him off to his new foster family.  

Zack was taken in by one of our experienced foster families and immediately started getting this pup ready for adoption. Zack's foster parents began rehabilitation to get him walking regularly.  He even started a very nutritional diet to help in the recovery process.  At Zack's most recent vet visit the doctors were amazed by his progress!! We are now told that this awesome dog is ready for adoption.  

Zack is a sweet boy, that is a bit nervous at first.  He has had some challenges in life so he wants to feel you out first. However, after that trust is built, which doesn't seem to take long, he is ready to be loved.  We are told he sure loves his belly rubs!  Zack is a great house dog and already house trained.  He is also leash trained.  Zack's foster family have small dogs and he does great with them!
