Sweet Lola Bear is a brown and white Chihuahua mix, a little over 2 years old, and weighs about 6lbs.  This little girl was rescued from a hoarding situation and she is somewhat shy when she meets new people.  It takes her a short time to warm up, but once she does, Lola will be the shadow by your side.

Because she was not socialized much as a puppy, loud noises and quick movements startle Lola.  She is searching for a home where her furever family will primarily be older kids (above the age of 10) and adults who understand that she deserves patience, love, and lots of spoiling.

All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and on flea/tick/heartworm prevention.  If the animal is too young to be altered (6 months or under), a certificate for their spay/neuter surgery is included in their adoption fee.  In accordance with Texas Health & Safety Code §828.002, sterilization is a mandatory requirement of adoptions through humane organizations and is a included in our adoption contract.

Many of our animals can be seen at our Adoption Center located at 5820 Richmond Rd, Texarkana, TX on Saturdays between 10 am - 3 pm.  We also have cats available in the Cat Adoption Center inside PetSmart - Texarkana.  To make arrangements to meet any of our animals, please call us at 1-877-525-4825, option 2.
