Meet Delta, TAL’s newest addition. She is a medium size black mouth cur/terrier mix. She is already spayed, very smart and super sweet. Delta was trapped at the airport where she had been dumped by the family of her deceased owner. It took almost a month to catch her because she was terrified and ran nonstop. Delta was almost hit by a plane because she was running on the runway when she was finally caught. That is why Brenda, our big hearted dog coordinator, named her Delta . Delta was very scared at first, but Brenda spent the time to sit with her in her kennel and love on her until she realized she was safe. Delta has been the best dog ever since. Delta is completely housebroken and will not do anything in her kennel no matter how long she is in there! She is such a good dog. Delta’s owner, that passed, must have really cared for her because you can tell she was loved and kept inside before the family up and dumped her. Delta is still a tiny bit shy when she first meets new people but warms up quickly. She is good with other dogs, cats and kids with zero aggression whatsoever. Delta truly is a great dog!

 

All of our adoptable animals are up to date on routine vaccinations, microchipped and spayed or neutered.  If the animal is too young a certificate for the spay/neuter is included in the adoption fee.  Please CLICK HERE to complete our online adoption application.
