sweet Whoopie was brought to the shelter and surrendered because she was in labor and trying to push puppies out with no success and much difficulty. We rushed her to the vet for a C/S and the vet delivered 6 puppies through her abdomen. We immediately took her into rescue rather than returning her and her new babies to the shelter so they wouldn't get sick. She and her babies are safe in a foster home.
