Chedder needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?
Cheddar was found by a Texarkana couple injured near their home on Saturday October 16th. It was apparent that she had been shot with a bow and arrow. The arrow broke her front leg along with leaving a large hole. After rushing her to Pleasant Grove Animal Hospital, the staff worked over the weekend to get her splinted and ready to go to a foster home. Upon examination, she was aged at only 6 months and weighs a little under 20 lbs. Following her weekend in the hospital, she was sent to a foster home where she fit in beautifully. She loves dogs, cats and people. She is being trained to use a crate. And, is now looking for that perfect safe home. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Chedder is looking not only for a home but also a sponsor to offset some of her vet bills. To make a donation, please visit our website at www.TexarkanaAnimalLeague.org. All of our adoptable animals are up to date on routine vaccinations and spayed or neutered. If the animal is too young a certificate for the spay/neuter is included in the adoption fee. Many times our animals are microchipped. Please CLICK HERE to download a copy of our Adoption Application and Agreement.
Many of our animals can be seen at our monthly adoption events at the Texarkana PetSmart on the third Saturday of every month. We also have cats available in the Cat Adoption Center inside PetSmart. To make arrangements to meet any of our animals, please call us at 1-877-525-4825, option 2.
