What does Texarkana Animal League do?

The Texarkana Animal League is busy helping animals in our community and we can use your help!  Here are some of the programs that are available:wicpup

Spay Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP):

Available to qualifying households in Bowie, Cass, Little River and Miller Counties. Includes wellness check, vaccines, heartworm test, and spay or neuter for only $35 for cats, $50 for dogs. Learn more about SNAP > 

Foster Care:

Provides a safe environment for animals while waiting for adoption. All animals in the foster care program are fully vetted prior to an adoption.

Adoptions: Adoption events at PetSmart and ongoing adoptions in the PetSmart Cat Adoption Center.

Education Program:

Visit local schools and community centers to provide information about various animal related topics.

Grant Writer Needed

The Texarkana Animal League is always looking for funding channels to support our current programs and start new programs. We are in need of a grant writer to help in finding and applying for these different opportunities.

wiccatCat Adoption Center Volunteers Needed

The cat adoption Center inside the Texarkana PetSmart is run daily by our volunteers.  Volunteers work to socialized, care for and clean up after the cats that are for adoption there.  Volunteers must be 18 years or older.  Please contact us at info@texarkanaanimalleague.org or call us at 877-525-4825, option 1 to find out more about volunteering with Texarkana Animal League!
